How To Read:
Dua e Ashura is a supplication that is often recited on the day of Ashura, the 10th day of the Islamic month of Muharram. This day is significant for both Sunni and Shia Muslims for various reasons, including the events surrounding the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) in the Battle of Karbala.
The Dua can be recited at any time, but it is often recommended to recite it on the day of Ashura, after the Asr prayer. Some sources also suggest reciting it after Fajr or Maghrib prayers. However, there isn't a strict rule about specific times for reciting this Dua, so you can choose a time that is convenient for you.
To recite Dua e Ashura:
1.Begin with Bismillah: Start by saying "Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim" (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful).
2.Supplication: Recite the Dua with sincerity and a focused heart, asking Allah for your needs and seeking His blessings.
3.Ameen: Conclude the Dua with "Ameen," expressing your earnest desire for Allah to accept your supplication.
Remember that intention and sincerity are crucial when making any supplication. It's also a good practice to learn the meaning of the Dua to better connect with its content.
As for specific times, it's recommended to observe the day of Ashura with acts of worship, reflection, and charity. Besides reciting Dua e Ashura, engaging in acts of kindness and helping those in need are also encouraged on this day.
